Newcastle Library Service is inviting children from across the city to help us celebrate the magic, fantastic and altogether awesome world of children's books.

On Saturday, 22nd November, the city is hosting the 25th Northern Children's Book Festival Gala Day where they’ll be the opportunity to meet 15 authors and illustrators, as well as take part in lots of free activities at:

• Newcastle Civic Centre,
• Seven Stories and
• The Literary and Philosophical Society.
